From the A593 North East of Coniston, follow the road out of town towards 'High Tilberthwaite'. This is a narrow road, follow all the way and it will turn into a dirt track with two car parks in the small village. One of the car parks has a large scree slope at the back.

Park here and follow the track road which will turn into a dirt track. Follow through the wooded area and you will see the quarry.
